Stoneware Sorrento

Salmon Mug by Sorrento StonewareAt Sorrento Stoneware we make two kinds of pots, Mark Hemmingson’s contemporary domestic wares, and Sheryl Willson’s one-of-a-kind pieces.

Mark makes a line of pottery for the kitchen and for serving. Sheryl glazes all  our wares and makes limited editions of unique platters, and specialty pieces.

We create in a spirit of tradition and experimentation. Each year we grow and evolve as artists, and so does our work. When you come to our sales you will find things you can always find, as well as original items we may never make again. It is this light of stability and creativity that guides us as we explore this incredible art form.
